A Link That Is Not Working

support@picazorlive.com

Send the Facebook link and what you saw on the screen. A public post that is failing is almost always a Facebook change on our side to fix, and the link is the fastest way for us to reproduce it.

Copyright and Takedowns

dmca@picazorlive.com

Formal notices only, with the elements listed on the DMCA page. Anything else sent to this inbox is being moved to the right one, which is slower for you.

Sponsors and Backers

sponsors@picazorlive.com

Safiullah Chandio is handling this inbox personally. The sponsorship terms are lower on this page, please read them before writing.

Code and Contributions

code@picazorlive.com

A bug report with the debug trace, a pull request, a translation for one of the eight languages, or a better way to read a page Facebook has changed again.

Press and Partnerships

press@picazorlive.com

Interviews, quotes, a mention in a piece about downloaders. We are answering, and we are not shy about how the tool works.

Law Enforcement and Agencies

legal@picazorlive.com

Region or IP blocking requests and legal correspondence for Capital Technologies LTD. Email first, postal mail second. The process is on the DMCA page.

Who Is Behind Picazor

Picazor is operated by Capital Technologies LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom, company number 11903724, with Safiullah Chandio running the project day to day. When you are writing to one of the inboxes above you are writing to that company, and your message is being read by a person on its behalf.

Postal correspondence for the company is reaching us through the registered office on the public companies register under that number. Email is faster by a week, and it is the address we are checking every day.

What Sponsorship Is Buying, and What It Is Not

No. A sponsor is not buying a link inside a tool page, a recommended badge, a mention in the copy, or a word in our footer. Sponsorship is buying a logo on the supporters wall of the homepage, and that is the full list.

Picazor is running the way an open source project runs. The code is doing what the code is doing whether a sponsor is on the wall or not, and no sponsor is getting a say in what the tool fetches, what it refuses, how fast it answers, or what the pages say. There is no SEO arrangement, no marketing benefit dressed up as goodwill, and no favour owed. If a company is expecting one of those, we are saying it here so that no one is spending an email finding out.

What sponsorship is paying for is plainer. A server that is running real browsers, a proxy bill because Facebook is walling regions off, bandwidth for files that stream through us and never stop, and the hours spent every month when Facebook changes its page and every downloader on the internet breaks on the same morning. Those are the costs. A sponsor is helping carry them, and the logo on the wall is the thank you, nothing more.

Backing That Is Not Money

Money is not the only backing that is keeping the tool running, and these contributions are being credited the same way. They go to code@picazorlive.com.

  • Code. Pull requests against the fetching layer, especially when Facebook changes a page structure and a tool stops reading it.
  • Testing. Reports that include the Facebook link, the debug trace and the device, so the problem is reproducible on the first try.
  • Design. Illustrations, the mascot, the step images and the logo work the placeholders on the site are waiting for.
  • Infrastructure. Hosting credits, proxy capacity or a slot on a browser farm, the three costs that are growing with every user.
  • Documentation. Clearer how to guides for the tool pages, written from a real device and a real link.
  • Outreach. An honest mention in a community or a piece where people are already looking for a tool like this.

To sponsor: write to sponsors@picazorlive.com with the company name, the logo and the link the logo should carry.

We are not accepting sponsors on the basis of SEO benefit or commercial intent. Sponsorship here is goodwill, and as a token of it your logo is listed on the supporters wall of the homepage. We are thankful for it.
